Indi Hartwell would recently see a glimmer of her husband, as Dexter Lumis sent her a picture on NXT 2.0. However, debuting from NXT UK – Blair Davenport would tear that in half. Tonight, the dangerous Davenport will be stepping into the ring with ‘Impressive’ Indi Hartwell in singles action. Formerly known as Bea Priestley, her resume speaks for itself – and NXT 2.0 might be in trouble.
Blair Davenport Makes Quick Work Of Indi Hartwell, Calls Out Mandy Rose
Hartwell would look to end this one quickly with a roll up, before going into the side headlock. Davenport would send Hartwell to the apron and kick her down to the floor, before hitting a neckbreaker through the ropes. Hartwell would be checked by the referee, before Davenport would apply the chickenwing sleeper.
The crowd was behind Hartwell, and she’d break free by slamming Davenport into the mat. Hartwell would throw some forearm smashes, before the spinebuster for the two count. She’d hesitate on the ropes, before Davenport would catch him with a driver for the finish. It’s a solid debut, and a start to a strong NXT 2.0 run.
Davenport would hit the Kamigoye after the bell and took the microphone, claiming she just beat one of the best in NXT 2.0. She’s setting her sights on the NXT Women’s Championship, currently held by Mandy Rose. Not standing for someone coming onto her turf, Rose would come out with the gold.
She’d claim that while Davenports reputation precedes her, she’s standing in Mandy Rose’s ring. Davenport is in Mandy Rose’s world – and needs to put some respect on her name.
The Final Boss Steps Into An NXT 2.0 Ring
However, another song would hit – and The Final Boss was here. Meiko Satomura, the NXT UK Women’s Champion – perhaps the greatest female wrestler active today – not just in WWE. From WWE, to TJPW, to AEW, and Stardom – everyone looks up to Satomura. A true legend.
She’d take aim at Rose, debunking her claim of being the most dominant champion in the game today. Satomura would call for a champion vs. champion match at Worlds Collide. Davenport would try to insert herself, and Satomura is more than fine with a triple threat match.
