Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one with a gauntlet match to determine Live Morgan’s next challenger and Roman Reigns will address his match against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.
We’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST start time to kick off WWE Smackdown Live Results.
Segment 1
Ricochet vs. Happy Corbin
This came about after an altercation in the back after McAfee replayed him kicking Corbin in his little happies at SummerSlam. After a brief flourish to start, Corbin took over and launched Ricochet into the ring post on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
Corbin spent most of the match glaring at McAfee and Ricochet took advantage to hit a Recoil and a Shooting Star Press for the win.
Afterwards, Ricochet and McAfee threw a football and McAfee punted it into the stands.
Segment 3
Sami Zayn tried to get in to see Roman Reigns. but the Usos intercepted him and told him they’ll text him when it’s a good time.
Segment 4
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ludwig Kaiser w/GUNTHER
This started off with Ludwig attempting holds on Nakamura, then fighting off a flourish with a spinning flatliner on Nakamura as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
This was a great match as they matched move for move until Ludwig made a mistake and Nakamura caught him with a step up kick and a Kinsasha to win the match.
Next week, Nakamura will face GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship and that’s going to be amazing.
Segment 6
Gauntlet match – Sonya Deville vs. Aliyah
This was a quick back and forth Deville won by hitting her Deville’s Advocate for the pin.
Gauntlet Match – Sonya Deville vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Raquel dominated the match before hitting a Tahana Bomb for the win.
Segment 7
Gauntlet Match – Raquel Rodriguez vs. Shotzi
This was another quick but good one Raquel won with a Tahana Bomb.
Gauntlet Match – Raquel Rodriquez vs. Xia Li
Li had the upper hand, but she chose to slap and mock Raquel and Raquel hammered away and hit another Tahana Bomb for the pin.
Gauntlet Match – Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya
Natalya went to work on Raquel’s left leg, but Raquel powered through to his yet another Tahana Bomb for the win.
Segment 8
Gauntlet Match – Raquel Rodriquez vs. Shayna Baszler
This was a good back and forth as Raquel tried to rally after Baszler worked over her left arm and leg, but Baszler won with a rollup.
Segment 9
Kofi Kingston ambushed the Viking Raiders with a kendo stick after their squash victory over an enhancement talent team.
Segment 10
Kofi Kingston vs. Erik w/Ivar
This was a good match Kofi won after slipping out of a full nelson and rolling up Erik for the win.
Segment 11
Drew McIntyre interrupted Roman Reigns’ speech, but then Karrion Kross’ music played and he attacked Drew from behind.
Scarlett came out and placed the hour glass on the ring apron and turned it over.
Tick tock. The clock if ticking for Roman Reigns.
This was a good show with an awesome ending. We didn’t expect Kross to return and wipe out Drew so easily, but ti set up a pretty cool triangle
