It was officially announced that RUSH is now under AEW contract earlier today, moving him from a ‘per appearance’ deal to a full-time deal. Now, he’s entering the ring for a big time singles match against John Silver of Dark Order, who has some bones to pick with RUSH after a recent battle royale – where RUSH was the one to eliminate him. This could turn into a faction conflict between Dark Order & La Faccion Ingobernables, depending on how this match goes.
Andrade El Idolo Puts AEW Career On The Line Next Week
Before this match, Andrade would challenge Preston ‘10’ Vance for a match on next week’s episode of AEW Rampage. The stipulation would be that if Vance loses, he is forced to unmask. If Andrade loses – he’s gone from AEW!
There’s been rumours of Andrade being unhappy with his spot on the AEW roster – and this could well be the way to write him off TV. If that would be permanent or simply until issues are solved will yet to be seen – but this has become a must see match instantly.
El Toro Blanco vs. The Meat Man
As this match began, Silver would send RUSH from the ring – before teasing a dive and taunting RUSH. Andrade would fire RUSH up, and a massive forearm smash would follow in the ring. Silver would be dragged to the outside and whipped into the barricades, before a heavy handed chop. RUSH would look to choke Silver with the camera cables, but the referee prevented this attack from happening.
Bulls Horns would be teased in the corner, before RUSH simply gave a light and mocking kick to the face. Silver was sent out of the ring, where Andrade got a quick stomp in. RUSH would slam Silver face first off the timekeepers table, before chopping the chest. Silver was hit in the head with a trash can, before this one got back into the ring.
RUSH took two chops from Silver, and dropped him with one in return. Diving senton was attempted, but Silver was able to roll away. Silver would follow up with a lariat, before hitting two deadlift German Suplexes. RUSH went for a dropkick, and was caught with a powerbomb for a near fall. Silver would take a Northern Lights Suplex – before they’re trade strikes – and RUSH once again won out.
Silver would manage the combo kicks and a brainbuster for the near fall. Andrade ran a distraction on the apron – allowing RUSH to recover and hit a superman forearm smash and the Bulls Horns kick for the victory. After the match, RUSH & Andrade would keep attacking – with Uno & Vance making the save.
BUtcher & The Blade would put the odds back in Andrades favour – before friend of Dark Order Hangman Page would arrive – taking down Butcher & The Blade before going after RUSH. RUSH barely avoided the Buckshot, and Jose The Assistant would take it instead.
RUSH vs. Page would be signed for Dynamite soon after – who will win? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
