If you were on the internet for the past 5-6 years, chances are you know who Jordan Peterson is. For those who do not know, he is a Canadian psychologist that got canceled on social media platforms for making controversial statements. He could be put on the same scale as Andrew Tate, but he is very much better spoken. He is popular for making numerous statements about masculinity and is branded as a misogynist by many.
The actress Olivia Wilde is one of those. She even based one character in her new movie ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ on him. She recently called Jordan Peterson a pseudo-intellectual hero, someone who is nothing, but a hero to the ‘incel’ community.
Jordan Peterson Tears Up As He Agrees To Olivia Wilde’s Accusation That He Is Mostly Glorified By Less Attractive Men
“We based that character on this insane man, Jordan Peterson, who is this pseudo-intellectual hero to the incel community.” – Olivia Wilde said in an interview about her new movie. She explained what she means by that and added that the incels are “disenfranchised, mostly white men, who believe they are entitled to sex from women.”
Jordan Peterson shockingly agrees with Olivia Wilde. He confirms that the incel community, or the less attractive men who are unable to find themselves a mate are the ones that glorify him the most. When answering Olivia’s accusations at the Piers Morgan Show on Tuesday, Jordan Peterson cried.
He starts the answer by stating that the comments don’t bother him. However, his eyes tearing hinted at something else. He might be taking the words personally and he might be hurt by them.
“Sure, why not. People have been after me for a long time because I’ve been speaking to disaffected men – and what a terrible thing to do that is.” – Peterson said. “I thought the marginalized were supposed to have a voice.”
As explained above, incels are men who are unable to attract women for various reasons. While they express their frustration by spreading hatred toward women, they are also by being hostile toward people with countering qualities. There are numerous blogs and websites that these individuals use to communicate and read posts about their already destroyed egos. Even though they are spreading women-hating comments, according to psychologists what they really hate is themselves. Their inability to appear sexually attractive to women is so frustrating for them that it makes them call for violence against the opposite gender.
However, Jordan Peterson sees the incels as people who need help. As people that are victims of alienation and abuse by the community.
“Well God, it’s very difficult to understand the level of demoralization of people. Certainly, there are young men who are part of that category.” – Jordan Peterson told Piers Morgan. “You get these casual insults, like ‘you incels’. What does that even mean? These men don’t know how to make themselves attractive to women and they are picky. And good for them, women you be picky, that’s your gift. Demand high standards from your man, fair enough. But all these alienated men, it’s like, they’re lonesome and they don’t know what to do and everyone piles abuse on them.”
Yet, the world has a bit of a different experience with incels. Many of them are violent and do not hesitate before ‘pulling the trigger’ and killing people. Actually killing women. They appear to be selective when choosing their victims.
In 2018, there was a case involving an incel in Florida, when an incel, Paul Beierle killed two women and injured four more when he entered a yoga studio. He ended up killing himself as well before the police came there as well.
In 2021, Tres Genco planned a mass shooting in Ohio at a women college student. Thankfully, the police got him before doing anything.
Jordan Peterson receives criticism for his latest appearance. His crying and emotionally speaking about the incels activated the cringe feeling in people. Shedding tears while interpreting incels as ‘victims’ is something to which society reacts.
“The way Jordan Peterson cries about ‘misunderstood’ incels. Men who don’t know how to ‘make themselves attractive to women’.” – British activist Patsy Stevenson reacted. “Then he doesn’t understand why people hate him. Jordan babe incels are f***ing murdering women because we say no to them.”
Jordan Peterson, the Incel King, as people refer to him now, rose to fame around a decade ago. Speaking about his conservative views on free speech, gender identification, and climate change pushed him to the limelight. As time passed, his debate topics started evolving into masculinity and. as some would say, ‘misogyny’.
“You know, as far as critique goes, that was kind of low level. I mean, once people painted me as ‘Red Skull’, you know. A magical super Nazi, that was kind of the end of the insults. There’s no place past that.” – Jordan Peterson said at the late-night show. “When Olivia Wilde made those comments, the first thing I did was go look at the preview for a movie. Which I quite liked. I thought, ‘I would go see that movie probably’. And perhaps I will. It didn’t really bother me.”
“If someone had to play myself, I think Chris Pine is a very good-looking man. So that seems alright, you know.”
A couple of months ago, most of the major social media platforms canceled Jordan Peterson completely. While woke society already had him under their radar for allegedly spreading misogyny he didn’t stop advocating for his views. The Twitter cancellation comes for violating the platform’s rules for a tweet that deadnamed transgender actor Elliot Page. He received a warning from Twitter to delete the tweet – which he refused – and remained banned on the platform.
