It is no secret that Harry is not on the best of terms with her father, Prince William. But that did not stop the Duke of Sussex from showing his caring side, as he appeared to be reassuring her that everything was going to be fine.
After all, Charlotte is only 7- years-old which is why it is understandable that things may have been overwhelming for her.
Not only that, but Harry had to go through a similar experience when he walked behind the coffin of his late mother, Princess Diana, at a very young age.
During the service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, Charlotte was seen moving her hat in the direction of Harry. As Charlotte looked in the direction, Harry can be seen smiling at her.
It was clearly a difficult time for Charlotte, as demonstrated by the following image. In the pictures here, we can see that she is crying after having attended the funeral.
And times like this suggest the importance of family, which is why the calls for the Sussexes to reconcile with the royals will only grow more.
The feud has ultimately impacted the next generation, as Charlotte will not be able to mingle with her cousins Archie and Lilibet. With that being said, the fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A significant proportion of fans reminisced at what could have been had the whole family been united. And in the process of doing so, they expressed their desire for the younger royals to see some unity.
One person wrote: “Would be awesome, they get to go and visit their aunt and uncle.” If Harry and Meghan manage to patch things up, then it will benefit the next generation of royals too.
