Meghan Markle has been slammed after claims that she has similarities with tennis legend Serena Williams.

Serena happened to be the first guest on Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast on Spotify. During the course of that process, the pair discussed a variety of issues including the concept of ambition.
That is where Meghan controversially claimed that she did not view ambition negatively until she began to date Prince Harry.
With that being said, Meghan’s critics bashed her for having the audacity to imply that her ambition was anyway on par with Serena, who has arguably become one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
Judy Finnigan, who happens to be a TV presenter, had this to say: “She whinges, she never realised being ambitious was a crime until she started dating Harry.
“Astonishingly, Meghan sees herself as an achiever on the same level as her podcast guest Serena Williams – a genuine tennis great – while all Meghan has done is marry a prince.”

Nevertheless, others argued that Meghan’s focus on ambition was designed to counter the claims that were made against her by Tom Bower.
In his book entitled, ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors,” Bower suggested that Meghan was a ‘scheming’ woman.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield confirmed as much: “Specifically, with this episode, you kind of see her go after Tom Bower responding to his claim that she’s ambitious and scheming.”
The fans on social media were equally condemnatory towards Meghan’s achievements. A certain subset of people were of the view that Meghan would not have been able to achieve as much as she has been able to do without the association with the Royal Family.
One person wrote: “Marrying a rather dim, mad prince isn’t exactly a career achievement, is it? She has no culture. She has no topic other than herself. She’s a bore.”
