Piers Morgan has slammed Meghan Markle following her return to the UK.

The Duchess of Sussex attended the ‘One Young World Summit’ on Monday, 5th September 2022 during which she delivered a speech and officially opened the event. And as part of that process, the comments that she made did raise some talking points.
From the outset, Meghan made it very clear that she was ‘very nice’ to be back in the UK. This is despite the fact that public opinion of her is at an all-time low following her controversial revelations in her ‘Archetypes’ podcast on Spotify and ‘The Cut.’
In his comments, Piers said: “To be blunt, who the f*** does she think she is coming back here at all after all the vile manure she’s gleefully flung at Britain, the Monarchy and the Royal Family?”

The primary reason why Piers was outraged was due to the fact that Meghan had generated a lot of controversy with her comments which coincided with the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
This was also seen as disrespecting the country and who could forget that she was ultimately booed during the Platinum Jubilee.
Not only that, but at a time where people are struggling with economic consequences caused by the pandemic, Piers felt Meghan was coming across as increasingly out of touch.
His following comments confirmed as much: “A woman who married a multi-millionaire prince, gave up her job, and now lives entirely off the gargantuan proceeds of his royal status that she ruthlessly fleeces to the highest bidders, lecturing anyone about poverty and equality.”
The fans on social media resonated with what Piers had to say. And in the process of doing so, they slammed Meghan for coming across as arrogant. One person wrote: “Well said Piers!”
It is fair to say that Meghan needs to do more in order to come across as relatable, but whether she can do that is anyone’s guess. Time will tell.
