Piers Morgan has slammed Meghan Markle following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Piers Morgan Calls Out Meghan Markle Following The Death Of Queen Elizabeth II-‘Markle Has A Lot To Answer For’
In the run-up to her passing, Meghan had made a series of controversial disclosures in her ‘Archetypes’ podcast on Spotify and with ‘The Cut.’
During the course of that process, her words were critical of the Royal Family at a time when it was the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
Not only that, but since the monarch’s deterioration in health was known, the Duchess of Sussex’s conduct was heavily criticised. And Piers was no exception to this.
In his comments, he said: “Meghan Markle has a lot to answer for….She’s been going out of her way over in America…to constantly attack them.”

Unfortunately, Meghan does not have the best track record when it comes to these types of accusations. Even her controversial Oprah Winfrey interview occurred amid news of the late Prince Philip’s deterioration in health.
Once again it demonstrated that Meghan was willing to speak out irrespective of the background circumstances that may have been in place.
And that has resulted in her suffering a huge amount of backlash especially since reports stated that she had not traveled with Prince Harry to go to Balmoral. This was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
A significant proportion of people agreed with what Piers had to say, as they bashed Meghan’s conduct. One person wrote: “She is the living definition of a narcissist.”
While another person stated: “Yes her and Andrew have inadvertently killed the queen through added undue stress. Who releases a book and podcast so close to the anniversary of their partners mothers death? The epitome of disrespect.”
It is clear that Meghan does need to rebrand her image, but how she goes about doing that is anyone’s guess. We will have to see how this will play out going forward.
