It is no secret that Angela is not the biggest fan of Markle, as she has made it very clear that Harry has changed considerably following his time with her amid their exit from the Royal Family in 2020.
And as part of that process, Angela let everyone know that she spent around 15 months with Harry which has now seen him completely change.
And yet, when TV host Vanessa Feltz questioned whether Angela was being too harsh, Levin did not take those words too kindly. In her comments, Angela said: “I don’t have to justify myself to you. I’m not in court.
“If you want to attack me, you shouldn’t invite me on.” Nevertheless, those comments have to be read into a wider context.
First of all, Vanessa has previously spoken about how there is a perception that she has not spoken about Meghan from a fair point of view. Therefore, her line of questioning could have been done to reflect that.
Secondly, looking at Vanessa’s actual questions, it seems that she simply wanted to get to the truth. In her questions to Angela, she stated: “It’s a question about what you base your thoughts on.
“Whether you’ve just imagined it, whether you’re projecting, whether you really know. . . You say what you think but what are the thoughts based on?”
The fans on social media had a mixed response to this. A certain subset of people were of the view that Angela had crossed the line since it appeared she could not defend her position. Meanwhile, others felt that Meghan’s mistakes were there for all to see.
One person wrote: “So did we imagine that H&M took a load of private jets whilst preaching about climate change or that the Oprah interview took place while Prince Philip lay dying or that Meghan said they were married beforehand??”
