Marquise Jackson turned 25 years old and all of a sudden he started to re-create the non-existing relationship with his father, the rapper 50 Cent. We do not know whether the ‘kid’ tried to contact 50 Cent privately, but we for sure saw the backlash he created with his social media posts, asking his father for a meeting.
If you would think that the initial thought behind the requested meeting is anything else, but money – you are very wrong. Marquise Jackson wanted to seat with his dad and speak about living expenses. Having this in mind, 50 Cent replied to him, and Marquise Jackson didn’t like the answer he got.
50 Cent Replies To His Son On The Request To Sit Down And Talk
Marquise Jackson had an interview with TMZ a couple of weeks ago and he opened up stating he wants to reunite with his father once more. The alleged background for the meeting would be to “understand each other a little better” and “restore the situation”.
However, after these comments, he was fast to state that the child support payment he receives of $6700 is not enough for him to maintain his lifestyle. He asked his father for a ‘raise’ of the payment.
50 Cent replied beautifully on this, as he is certain that someone is manipulating his son. He had an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’ where he questioned the genuinity of his son’s request.
“No, he doesn’t want a reunion.” – 50 Cent expressed his thoughts. “Look, Charlamagne, you would call me. You don’t call TMZ to say you want to sit down and talk. He wants some attention, and that’s fine, he can have all the attention he wants. What you heard him say in that interview, that’s what he’s been taught to believe for a long time. He doesn’t stand up and say, ‘Oh, I don’t believe what I’ve always believed’. When I said he’s entitled, it’s actually his mother’s entitlement that has trickled down.”
However, 50 Cent has all the ammo for defending himself from attacks. He has the fact that he at one point offered his wife $500 000 per year for child support. The thing is that she didn’t accept and took it to court. The judge there gave her only $80 000 per year.
“I told her I was giving her half a million dollars a year. At that point, she still expected more.” – the rapper revealed. “That’s why I took her to child support. You don’t usually sign child support; She requested child support because she wasn’t understanding that I’m already giving her more than she should get.”
