Chris Jericho is the ROH World Champion, and has pledged to take down every former champion in the company’s history. Tonight, after making a successful defence over The American Dragon on Dynamite – and with Daniel Garcia back in the Jericho Appreciation Society? It’s time to see just what’s on Red Death’s mind.
Stu Grayson Is Back In AEW?!
Before this, we’d check in on Dark Order – who suffered another big loss recently. Jose The Assistant would once again go after Preston Vance. Vance called for a match with RUSH next week, before Stu Grayson would return to AEW – for atleast one night. Grayson did not renew his AEW contract earlier this year, but he wasn’t going to not show up when AEW was in his home of Canada.
He’s remained associated with Dark Order on the indies – and was recently announced to be teaming with Evil Uno for an upcoming Pro Wrestling Guerilla event. It’s possible he got a pay-per-appearance deal, allowing Dark Order to once again show some power in numbers.
Dalton Castle Challenges Chris Jericho For ROH World Champion
Garica would get a strong reaction from fans, and he has been asked why he attacked Danielson on Wednesday – handing the victory to Jericho. He’d remind everyone that Sports Entertainers are better than Professional Wrestlers, and that was a hard pill for Garica to swallow… but it’s true. Garcia learned a lot about heart from Danielson, but Jericho taught him how to win matches – when Jericho hit Garcia in the face with the ROH World Championship.
That is why his name is Daniel Garcia, and he’s a sports entertainer. Jericho would again claim to be the greatest ROH Champion of all time, and again pledged to take down every ROH World Champion. Dalton Castle would say he was once the champion, and seeing the belt around the waist of Jericho? It makes him sick. He broke his back for that championship, and will break Jerichos to get it back around the waist of someone ROH fans can be proud of.
Nyla Rose Is 1-0 As Self Proclaimed TBS Champion
Nyla Rose fancies herself the new TBS Champion, having stolen the belt from Jade Cargill. Tonight she ‘defends’ that belt, as Jericho Appreciation Society member Anna Jay looks to claim that belt for her own purposes. Where Cargill lands in all this is unclear, but as the official TBS Champion – Cargill will need to gain some control very soon.
Jay would be taken down to the match early, but Rose was unable to maintain control. Trading strikes would benefit Rose, who would land a body slam before jumping leg drop. Jay would dodge the cannonball senton, and would work to keep Nyla on her back with some strikes and submissions on the mat.
Rose would go after the eyes, before setting up Jay for the draping knee drop. Jay was able to avoid and hit a neckbreaker in the ring for a two count. Rose walked into a boot to the face but caught a dive and hit Beast Bomb for the victory. Cargill would try and march to the ring, but Hogan & Gray would offer to go get the belt, but the security detail would stop them. Cargill took everyone down, but by the time she got to the ring – Rose was already gone.
When will Rose face Cargill? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
