The host of the True Geordie podcast found that out the hard way. He tried to invite him to his podcast and the amount he asked for left him speechless.
True Geordie is a popular YouTube channel with more than 2 million subscribers. They usually invite popular people from the sport or entertainment industry and make podcasts that are interesting and engaging to watch. Various people like Logan Paul, Kieran Tripper, and The Undertaker have made appearances on the show until now.
The podcaster sent Floyd Mayweather an unofficial offer for guesting on his podcast. The reply that left him speechless.
“I once asked to get Floyd Mayweather on the podcast you know.” – True George told one of his recent guests at the podcast. “This is what made me wonder about his finances. “I thought ‘you know, ‘I’ll ask’ and I got through, through the friend of a friend, and I got quoted ten grand to have him on the podcast. However, I thought, ‘I don’t know what to make of that’. If you’ve got loads of money, why quote me ten grand? I just think that everything is for a price with him and maybe that’s just him being smart. But I didn’t pay it.”
Floyd Mayweather retired from boxing in 2017. His most recent professional bout was against Conor McGregor, in an inter-promotional bout. However, since then he came back into the ring for several exhibition fights. His most recent exhibition was against Mikuru Asakura, where he won by decision.
