Like every parent, Meghan Markle wants her one-year-old daughter Lilibet Diana to be successful in life. And the first step to success – intelligence and education.
While Meghan Markle wants a bright future for her daughter, she thinks that the way to success should be engraved in her mind from a young age. According to her mother, Lilibeth Diana needs to have aspirations to become an educated individual. And as a mother, Meghan Markle’s duty is to somehow make her daughter realize that education is the way to success.
Meghan Markle Has Big Plans For Her Daughter – Education Is On First Place
“Curious to hear your thoughts on this idea of, when I hear the word ‘bimbo,’ I have a very negative connotation to it. I don’t see that as an aspirational thing for women,” – Meghan said to the actress Iliza, in a recent episode of her Archetypes podcast. “Yeah. I want my Lili to want to be educated, and want to be smart, and to pride herself on those things.”
Meghan Markle revealed that she considers herself to be that young intelligent kid that has big aspirations. She revealed she didn’t feel like turning many heads until her teens. However, she was a smart one.
“That is all you have to hold on to.” – Meghan said. “So, in any other moment, no one cared if I came to the party. I had a crush on this boy named Chris. I couldn’t get Chris to look in my direction! You know?”
Meghan says that as a woman you would like people to find you attractive. But in most cases, there is just so much that you can do about it. However, on the other side, intelligence and educational upgrade is something that doesn’t have limits.
“Those are the things that sort of inform how you go, ‘Okay, well, if I could be prettier, or if I could be funnier’. But again, that’s that angling, constantly, as a woman, to try to be something that is desirable.”
Meghan revealed that people haven’t always valued her for her ‘brains’. In her past business endeavors, there were times when people didn’t see her intellect and didn’t value her enough. She explained that while working on the ‘Deal or no Deal’ show in 2006, they were underestimating her abilities.
“Smart women surrounded me on that stage. But that wasn’t the focus of why we were there” – Meghan Markle explained to her guest. “I would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach. Knowing that I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage.”
