In Michigan, two men are looking at a variety of charges for the death of a woman and a teenage girl in 2021. Joshua Wirgau (35), Brad Srebnik (36), and Abby Hill (34) came up as suspects in an investigation into the disappearance of Brynn Bills who went missing on August 2, 2021.
Two Michigan Men Are Facing Murder Charges for the 2021 Death of a Co-Conspirator in the Murder of Teen Girl
From what the Michigan State Police concluded on Bills’ disappearance, Hill picked her up on the morning of August 2 based on witness testimony and Facebook Messenger logs.
The Michigan Attorney General’s Office’s statement doesn’t include what happened between Hill picking Brynn Bills up and the 17-year-old’s murder. What was concluded is that Bills died at the hands of Srebnik and was buried on Wirgau’s property.
Since Abby Hill was a loose end who knew of the murder, Srebnik and Witgau turned their attention to her, according to the AG Office. The belief is that the trio traveled to a remote area for undisclosed reasons on September 25, 2021, and Hill was killed by her co-conspirators.
Srebnik and Wirgau are facing first-degree premeditated homicide, felony firearm possession, and disinterment and mutilation of a dead body. Both are already behind bars on felony firearms charges after pleading guilty in February 2022. Of the case, Attorney General Dana Nessel started:
“There is no charge or punishment that will alleviate the grief felt by the families and loved ones of these two women, but I am committed to holding responsible their killers and will exhaust all resources to see justice delivered.”
