Police are asking for help in finding the person who stabbed to death 4 University of Idaho students.
Police Still Have No Suspect In Idaho Student Murders As Possible Stalker Lead Develops
On Sunday, 13th November 2022, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were discovered dead hours after police said someone attacked them while they were sleeping.
The lack of a suspect in the case has meant that the investigation entered its twelfth day, which is a cause for concern. Law enforcement are working through the Thanksgiving holiday, but no additional information about the assailant has been released.
What is even more worrying is the fact that there were no signs of forced entry or the murder weapon, which authorities believe was a fixed-blade knife.
Aaron Snell, who happens to be the communications director for the Idaho State Police, had this to say: “We continue looking into the stalker issue and are asking for any information from the public on this topic.”
This naturally raises the question of whether the attacker was someone within the student’s circle or a complete outsider. Goncalves and Mogen were seen at the Corner Club bar several hours before the murders, and bartender Corbin was on duty.
Corbin described life on campus as being ‘insular and close-knit.’ That is why he was of the view that it had to be someone that did not know the students.
His following comments confirmed as much: “They were college girls — they have stalkers…Whoever did this is not in their circle.”
The sentiment has been backed up by law enforcement. Pat Diaz, who happens to be a former Miami-Dade County detective, doubled down on Corbin’s belief, reaffirming the point that this was an outsider.
Police statements have further confirmed that “Kaylee mentioned having a stalker.” Hopefully, the perpetrator can be brought to account as soon as possible.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
