Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey reportedly had over 30 lies.
Harry And Meghan’s Oprah Winfrey Had Over 30 Lies-Says Angela Levin
That is according to royal expert Angela Levin. During the course of the interview, the Sussexes made a number of damning allegations.
This included the claim that someone in the Royal Family had reservations about Archie’s skin colour. Meanwhile, Meghan also admitted that she was driven to having suicidal thoughts.
And to top it all off, she also suggested that Kate Middleton had made her cry in the run-up to her wedding, which has been questioned by Tom Bower who suggested that the reverse happened. With that being said, Angela did not hold back.
In her comments, she said: “[There were] over 30 lies in that interview.” As a result, Angela called out the decision of Robert F. Kennedy’s Human Rights organisation to award the Sussexes with an accolade.
The president of the organisation, Kerry Kennedy, has confirmed that the Sussexes will be honoured for speaking out against ‘structural racism.’
Although that may be the case, Angela questioned the award. This could have been due to the fact that the couple had not actually named any names nor taken any active steps to tackle racism.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “It’s nonsense, it’s a non-starter but that’s what it is, this award for heroism is for absolutely nothing, it’s for the Oprah interview, which doesn’t have any proof.”
The fans on social media agreed with what Angela had to say. A significant proportion of people were of the view that this explained why the couple’s interview has been largely removed.
One person wrote: “Of course it was full of lies, most provable, shameful hence this OW interview is no longer available online.”
It is clear that the Sussexes do need more positive PR, but the current perception suggests that they are failing heavily in that regard. And this is something they will be looking to prevent moving forward.
