In August we found out that the Rocky star, Sylvester Stallone is getting a divorce from his wife. After a quarter of a century together they suddenly decided to split and it was dramatic. Stallone covered the tattoo he had of Jennifer Flavin with a photo of his dog. She gave an interview blaming him for spending money from the marital fund, etc.
However, now, after a month, the duo decided that they can pass over all of that. That they will try to make their marriage work once more. According to People magazine, the couple stopped the divorcing negotiations and decided to give their romance a new chance.
Sylvester Stallone And Jennifer Flavin Changed Their Mind – They Called The Divorce Off
According to the court filing, both Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester Stallone say “that is in the best interests of each of them individually, more importantly collectively as a family, to resolve all issues attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in an amicable and private manner out-of-court.”
A source close to Sylvester Stallone said that the couple “decided to meet back up at home. Where they talked and were able to work out their differences. However, they are both extremely happy now.”
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin share three daughters. But none of them released a statement regarding their parents’ split.
The news about their divorce came right after their celebration of 25 years of marriage. Jennifer Flavin decided that she has had enough and filed for divorce in a Florida county. In August this year, Jennifer went to Palm Beach County and filed a petition for annulling the marriage. As a main reason for the divorce, Flavin put that she cannot move past the fact that Stallone moved assets from the marital funds. As she put it in the documentation, Sylvester Stallone “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion, and waste of marital assets.”
Stallone on the other hand denied all the claims that Flavin accused him of. His legal team released a statement that the actor ‘never engaged’ in such transfer of funds.
“I am very sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband. We won’t be married, but I will always treasure the more than 30 years of relationship we have shared. I know that we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.” – Jennifer Flavin told People after filing for divorce.
“I love my family. Finally, we are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.” – Stallone said after announcing that he is getting back with his wife.
