Sylvester Stallone has had enough of his estranged wife’s claims that he was draining or burning through their assets. In a recent filing, he states that he isn’t intentionally running up their assets or hiding any of it.
Sylvester Stallone Responds to Jennifer Flavin’s Divorce Petition and Says He Isn’t Squandering or Squirreling Away Marital Assets
Stallone filed in Palm Beach but the details of what exactly he’s contesting outside of basically saying “I’m not doing that” aren’t mentioned. All we really know of his filing is that it’s counter to what Flavin is claiming.
Well, there’s also Sly saying that Flavin could not have exclusive use of their mansion in Palm Beach. That seems to be a point he was adamant about. The filing is also an admission by Sylvester Stallone that it’s a wrap on their 25 years of marriage, the union can’t be fixed, and that it was cool for Flavin to go back to her maiden name.
The last point was a bit odd since it’s not entirely certain what would stop her from going back to her maiden name unless there’s some sort of penalty for doing so with Stallone’s permission. It could also be courtesy to ask but after claiming your partner is squandering or hiding assets, courtesy over a last name is a bit odd.
