Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI have had a rough time in Super Junior Tag League, but their last match saw them defeat the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champions Catch 2/2. They showed the champions what true tag team wrestling looks like, having their best performance of the tournament yet. Tonight they look to ensure they finish the tournament strong, with a chance for two easy points in the form of SHO & Dick Togo of House of Torture.
House of Torture Find No Aid Tonight
EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi did not come to the ring with Togo & SHO, but they’re never far. Kanemaru & Togo would lock up in the middle of the ring, with Kanemaru nearly ending things with a roll up. Togo would poke the eyes, before taking a basement dropkick. Double knee crusher from Suzuki-gun followed, before DOUKI set up the Daybreaker DDT.
SHO would block the DDT by yanking DOUKI to the floor and dragging him out through the crowd and onto a stage before booting him off. DOUKI would make it back to the ring at 14, preventing a count out victory. Togo would stretch DOUKI in the ring, but had to let the hold go due to a rope break.
SHO would slingshot DOUKI into the bottom rope, before raking his eyes. A suplex would be blocked as DOUKI slipped away, before hitting a jumping headbutt to the chest of SHO. Kanemaru would hit a dropkick to the knee and a knee crusher followed by a second dropkick set up the Figure Four Leg Lock. SHO would break free and hit a spear before tagging Togo back into the match.
Kanemaru would use Togo to drop SHO, before hitting an enziguri. DOUKI hit the ring for a running double stomp. Togo would get a Crossface applied, before ending up in the DOUKI-CHOKEY instead. SHO yanked the referee out of the ring before hitting a low blow on Kanemaru. Togo would take a swig of Kanemaru’s whisky, only to be hit with a throat thrust and submitted with the DOUKI-CHOKEY.
BUSHI & Titan Defeat Flying Tiger
BUSHI & Titan have meshed as a tag team since Titan became the newest member of Los Ingobernables De Japon, and have a serious chance of winning Super Junior Tag League. The same can not be said about the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Flying Tiger, who are mathematically eliminated from the field.
Titan & Eagles would kick this match off, with Titan able to get control of a wrist lock before being thrown across the ring. Eagles would go for an arm drag – before Titan would land on his feet. BUSHI & Tiger got tags, with BUSHI hitting a neckbreaker for a near fall. Titan would come off the top rope with a double stomp to the arm of Tiger, before some quick kicks would punish the legend.
Eagles got the tag and took Titan down with a spinning wheel kick, before looking to hit the dive to the floor, only to get tripped up by BUSHI. In the ring, BUSHI would hit a spinebuster for a two count, before Tiger would get the tag. Titan helped BUSHI avoid a Tiger Driver, only for Eagles to hit an Asai DDT before the Tiger Driver for a two count.
Titan hit the dropkick before a superkick before being rolled up with a Crucifix hold. He’d kick out and end up in a double armbar, but was able to find the bottom rope. Tiger would hit a top rope Butterfly Suplex, but only found a two count.
BUSHI caught Tiger with a DDT, before Eagles was dropped with a dropkick. Back in the ring, Titan hit a slam for a two count on Tiger, before the rushing lariat into the codebreaker. Titan slipped on the ropes going for the foot stomp, but nailed it on the second go for the victory.
