Since the opening night of World Tag League, the spokesman of United Empire has promised that both Aussie Open and the duo of Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare would meet in the finals. Aussie Open have been able to hold up their part of the bargain, coming into tonight as the block leaders with 12 points. Henare & Great-O-Khan have had less success, and tonight they must win if they want a chance to make it to the finals. It’s a United Empire derby, and only one can win. Do Henare & O-Khan purposely take the fall to ensure Aussie Open makes the finals, or do they fight for a chance at glory?

United Empire Clashes In First Time Ever Tag Team Match

O-Khan & Davis would start this match with some heavy shoulder tackles and forearm smashes, instantly letting us know that no one is laying down in this match. As they hit the ropes, Henare & Fletcher pulled them to the floor and took their places in the ring with a flurry of strikes. This would turn into a four way brawl, with Aussie Open winning out as they’d ran Henare & O-Khan into each other with spinebusters.

O-Khan would look to apply the Sheep Killer on Fletcher, with Davis attempting to make the save but being shoved from the ring. Sheep Killer would be applied, as Henare grabbed a knee bar – with Fletcher flailing to get the bottom rope and free himself. Henare would get the tag and hit a stiff kick to the spine, before keeping the pressure on with a stiff forearm smash.

Fletcher was able to send Henare into the corner, only to be met with the springboard roundhouse kick. Davis got the tag and would be able to run down both Henare & O-Khan with a double lariat. Henare was forced into the corner for some chops with lariats quickly following. Fletcher would trip Henare up, allowing for a sliding forearm smash from Davis.

A reverse Death Valley Driver would be followed by the Dental Plan kick and a Military Press thrown into a cutter. Henare would be able to survive before taking a spinebuster for a near fall – with O-Khan making the crucial save. O-Khan would be able to catch Davis & Fletcher with judo takedowns – before heading to the corner and awaiting a tag.

Aussie Open Show Why They’re The Tag Team Aces Of The Faction

Two Mongolian Chops would set up Fletcher in the corner, before he’d become the Throne of O-Khan. Ten slams of the face into the turnbuckle would be followed by the Slam Dunk, before a Fisherman Suplex for a two count. Henare would catch Fletcher in the corner with the rising knee, before a tag team Sheep Killer would turn into a slam.

Fletcher was able to kick out, before being levelled with the Berzerker Bomb for another near fall. O-Khan would keep his eyes on Davis as Fletcher was lifted onto the shoulders of Henare for the Imperial Drop. Davis would be able to break into the ring and drop Henare, before getting into the corner for a tag.

We’d get a four man brawl following the tag, with a flurry of forearms from Aussie Open almost winning out before some harsh body blows. Davis would be kicked in the spine, setting up the Tenzan Tombstone Driver for a two count, Fletcher able to save the match. Henare would be lifted for Corealis, and this one was over – with Aussie Open pushing to a staggering 14 points.
