The RCMP and the New Brunswick police rounded up five in a Moncton raid on December 1, 2022 following weeks of investigation into the suspects. At 12:30 PM, authorities moved on a search warrant and discovered a significant amount of drugs.
RCMP and New Brunswick Police Arrest 5 In Drug Raid Netting Cocaine, Cash, and Weapons
According to authorities, they seized cocaine, pills, marijuana, a “prohibited weapon,” ammo, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Only one of the suspects was named: Dwayne Richard (28) was charged in court with possession of non-prescribed drugs and failure to appear on December 2. He was scheduled for another hearing on December 14.
As for his fellow suspects, they were identified as a 31-year-old man from New Horton, a 30-year-old man a 32-year-old woman from Moncton, and a 26-year-old woman. They were all released and are scheduled for court in April 2023.
