‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be a fun episode as we’re going to get some interesting angles being set up for the future, and it’s going to be interesting to see how things work out. Without further ado, let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 4: A new off
In many ways, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is living a charmed life as opportunity after opportunity despite constantly managing to shoot herself in the foot.
While her latest saving grace is working with Danny Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) in what’s her latest dream job, there’s another offer coming and it’s going to be an intriguing one.
We’re curious what this offer will be, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have a couple of ideas.
The biggest one we feel most likely is Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will approach her about keeping on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and letting him know what she’s up to.
It’s no secret Stark doesn’t trust Diane, and since he and Phyllis have a sort of bond through her idiocy and blind hatred, he’ll use that.
Of course, it’ll put Diane in danger as well as anyone else around, but Phyllis has long since washed her hands of any responsibility, claiming it’s Diane’s fault for forcing her hand and yadda, yadda, yadda.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 4: Kyle’s fretting
Given what Diane’s plan is, it makes sense that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be worried about Diane getting in too deep and what Stark will do to her if he finds her out.
This will cause some friction with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) as she’s going to start feeling like she’s making all the sacrifices by casting Phyllis aside for Kyle and his mother’s sake.
She’ll ignore the part that everything that’s happened to Phyllis was Phyllis’ fault, and it’ll start creating a divide between her and Kyle that may not be bridged.
Of course, that’ll be Diane’s fault as well since no one has responsibility for their actions with her around, and it’ll lead to an interesting showdown at some point between her and Kyle.
One thing we’re sure if, if they go down this road it’s going to be interesting to see what happens if someone is hurt thanks to Phyllis bringing Stark to Genoa City.
