There’s been some stirring in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) after Jay while challenged former Bullet Club member Hikuleo to a “Loser Leaves Japan” match that has social media buzzing on the possibilities.
Many believe this means Jay White will be leaving the Bullet Club and New Japan for one of the top companies in AEW or WWE.
There’s also the possibility that he could land in Impact Wrestling after he appeared there numerous times and it’s home to Bullet Club members Chris Bey and Ace Austin.
Is Jay White Leaving NJPW for AEW or WWE?
It’d help keep any potential storylines between him and the Bullet Club going with them all being under one roof, so to speak.
If he goes to AEW, he can still appear in Japan for various functions, and he may even have that freedom in the WWE.
To be honest, it seems like the WWE will be a better landing place for him given some fan dream matches could come true as he could face Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and more.
Wowww, loser leaves Japan match. Jay White vs. Hikuleo.

Setting the stage
While whether or not Jay is leaving New Japan or not, much less where he’ll go, is still up in the air, it seems like the logical result of the current storyline.
At Wrestle Kingdom 17, Jay lost his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to Kazuchika Okada in huge match, and then he challenged Hikuleo to the Loser Leaves Japan match at New Japan’s New Year’s Dash.
The challenge came after the eight man tag match between Jay, KENTA, El Phantasmo, and Taiji Ishimori and the team of Hikuleo, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Master Wato, and Tama Tonga ended in a disqualification.
Bullet Club beat down their opponents afterwards, and that led to pissed off Jay insulting his former Bullet Club members for betraying the stable and then challenging Hikuleo.
This match is expect to happen in the next few weeks and the aftermath will determine the future of the Bullet Club leadership and if they remain a viable faction.
If Jay loses as many expect, it’ll follow the typical plan of writing a talent off TV or out of a company when they’re going somewhere else.
As we mentioned above, AEW and WWE are the two top choices for him to go in man fans’ minds, with Impact Wrestling being a sleeper choice for many, if it’s even being acknowledged.
There are pros and cons to any of the possible landing spots for him. Where do you think Jay will go and which company would be the best fit for him? Let us know in the comments below.
