ITS TIME TO PLAY THE GAME-AAAAAA! One of my favorite wrestlers is one of the most polarizing figures around today. People used to hate Triple H for his “reign of terror” on Monday nights for a while. Today, people love him for cultivating talent in NXT and bringing some of our favorite independent wrestlers to the main stream. He has some great moves that we are going to take a look at.
The Pedigree
A move that Triple H took and made his own. This move looks devastating when he does it and it is almost exclusively the only way he finishes his matches unless someone slides him a sledgehammer.
Even then, most likely a sledgehammer is most likely the start of an overkill combo for Triple H. After he knocks you out cold with the sledgehammer, he will drag your lifeless body up to hit a completely unneeded Pedigree.
That’s just how the game gets down!
Spinebuster
Triple H uses this move as a random move in his bag. While it is a decent spinebuster and usually do what it needs to do, its not that big of a move for him.
This move is more so of a set up move for him to get you on the mat so that he can start working your limbs over.
Even so, this version leaves a lot to be desired. After wrestling people with amazing spinebusters like The Rock, Batista, and Faarooq, you would think that his would be better, but its not.
DOOM Score: 1 out of 5
Jumping Knee/Knee Smash
For someone with bad knees, he sure like using them to hurt people. Triple H had a few different impact moves that he did.
One was a jumping knee to the face when this opponent was rebounding off of the ropes. This was probably my favorite because you rarely saw times that HHH left the ground. Jumping for this move was the extent of his high flying.
The next version, he would take your head and bash it on his knee after you came running at him from the ropes.
The last version was a knee drop on your head while you are lying on the ground. While these don’t sound very special, I will put them all under one move and give them a point each.
DOOM Score: 3 out of 5
