Prince Harry stated in his book, Spare, that his first date with model and actress Cressida Bonas, whom his cousin, Princess Eugenie, had set him up with, ended in a somewhat embarrassing manner.

The Duke of Sussex confessed that Eugenie interrogated him after the date, and sighed in response to his story of the ‘painfully awkward’ kiss that had taken place.
He confessed that he dropped Cressida off and attempted to kiss her at the end of the night, but his aim was off. To make matters worse, when Harry, aged 38, phoned Eugenie the next day to explain what had happened, he discovered Cressida had already told her.
In his book, Spare, Harry allegedly wrote: “Disencouraged, I told her the date had gone well but the ending had left something to be desired. She didn’t disagree. She’d already spoken to Cressida. She sighed. Awkward.”
However, things were not too damning in the end since they did end up dating for a matter of two years since they went official in 2012.
While they did break up, Harry has moved on since then by marrying Meghan Markle. Much in the same way, Cressida has moved on by marrying Harry Wentworth-Stanley in 2020.
In his book, Harry recollects crying for his mum, Princess Diana, for the first time since her burial when he was on a skiing vacation with Cressida in 2014.
Additionally, he remembers ending his relationship with Cressida at a buddy’s residence after the excursion, as she did not want to tackle the difficulties associated with being a royal.
The fans on social media began to troll Harry in light of this revelation. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very brutal indeed.
One person wrote: “She didn’t ‘grill’ him hard enough, personally I’d have microwaved the little runt,” while another person stated: “Not content with the family assassination he also wants to destroy ex-girlfriends. What a gent.”
