The ex-partners were wed from 2014 to 2019 and have a daughter named Aspen who is 6 years old, in addition to Hart and his identical twin, Hayes.
While that may have been the case, it seems that they have major disagreements when it comes to Hart. After all, Meghan has been vocal in the past over how hard it has been for her to co-parent with Jim.
Not only that, but she went on to state that the 52-year-old former baseball player has not gone to any specialist’s appointment for their four-year-old child.
In her comments, Meghan said: “What kind of father doesn’t know that? It breaks my heart…He has access to them [medical records].
“He has access to the CP diagnosis. It has been given to all [Hart’s] schools, all his teachers. I have them printed out in Hart’s file sitting right next to me.”
Meghan additionally pointed out that Hart was diagnosed with Periventricular Leukomalacia, and Edmonds was aware of this as he was present at the toddler’s appointment when he was one year old.
This condition can have the impact of affecting a person’s vision and movements to the point where daily life is difficult. The response on social media was mixed.
A certain subset of people resonated with what Meghan had to say since it showed that Jim was not acting in the best interests of his son. Meanwhile, others felt that the pair were as bad as each other in discussing this openly.
One person wrote: “Jim Edmonds is a real piece of work…and not in a good way,” while another person stated: “Both of them need to shut up and do right by the children.”
