Since making his return to NXT and burning his previous identity of T-Bar away, Dijak has been motivated to bring his brand of ‘Hard Justice’ to the NXT brand. Having taken aim at NXT North American Champion Wes Lee, he would be viewed as jumping the line by The Don of NXT. Getting on the bad side of Tony D’Angelo is usually a death sentence, but D’Angelo has been able to do little to slow Dijak down. After Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo was taken down last week, D’Angelo would make the challenge – ready to take Dijak on in singles action. Wes Lee will be watching this match very closely, as the winner is very likely to meet him next.
Dijak Deals A Fatal Blow To The D’Angelo Family
Wes Lee would take a seat at the announce desk, as D’Angelo wasted no time getting this match physical – taking Dijak to the floor with a lariat. D’Angelo would be shoved into the steel steps, only to avoid a big boot. Some slugging blows to the midsection would land on Dijak, before D’Angelo would apply a tight headlock in the ring.
Dijak would be able to break free and hit a flapjack onto the top rope, following up with a lariat for a two count. D’Angelo would fight back with another lariat to the floor, and was to be thrown into the barricade – but Stacks would use his body to soften the blow, allowing D’Angelo to launch into a spear on Dijak.
Dijak would regain control in the ring, able to lock D’Angelo in a cravat before throwing in some stiff knee strikes to the jaw. Stacks was handcuffed to the corner by Dijak as well, preventing him from getting involved anymore in this match. D’Angelo would break free and nail a big spinebuster for a two count.
Dijak would manage a superkick before the High Justice Chokeslam for a near fall. Stacks would try to save D’Angelo – calling him his boss. D’Angelo said he’s not his boss, they’re family – before eating a big boot for the finish. Wes Lee would stare down Dijak from ringside, knowing he’s looking at his neck challenger.
Jinder Mahal Takes Down The Creed Brothers
Before Indus Sher & The Creed Brothers could have their long awaited grudge match, which was set to be a matter of respect – but Veer was not here tonight. Sanga was willing to make this a two on one match… but that was a distraction. Striking from behind was former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.
Alongside Sanga, he would tear down The Creed Brothers before hitting the Khallas in the middle of the ring. Jinder would take the microphone, and say while Veer & Sanga care about respect – he does not. The Creed Brothers are now outnumbered, leaving the door open for a Roderick Strong return very soon.
Will Strong even the odds to take down Mahal & Indus Sher? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
