For a while, it looked like Drew McIntyre would have to wait for WrestleMania Backlash to face Bobby Lashley again, but we get them tonight and WWE Raw Preview is set for an interesting night.
With this being Raw’s Go Home episode for Backlash, it’s fair to expect Lashley and McIntyre to give us their all to get us ready for the pay-per-view.
McIntyre is a man on a mission and won’t be denied another championship run despite Lashley making him pass out at WrestleMania.
But a couple of weeks ago, Braun Strowman finagled a match to get his shot at a triple threat at Backlash. All he had to do was defeat McIntyre and he did.
Sure, he had help from Mace and T-Bar, but McIntyre had no problem accepting help from 6 Legends against Randy Orton so it washes out.
Can’t stop the gimmicks
Still, McIntyre wasn’t happy and when Lashley redirected the Monster Among Men into McIntyre at the commentary table, things were bound to go wrong.
And that happened after Lashley won and McIntyre hit both of them with Claymores to close the night out.
Because of that, we expect more of the same tonight. In fact, we expect Strowman to come out partway through the match just like McIntyre did. Will he join the announce team?
We’ll have to wait and see, but he’s going to have a hand in McIntyre and Lashley’s finish for another chaotic ending heading into the pay-per-view.
This could be a pivotal match for any of the three, but we expect Lashley to win somewhat clean if there’s an actual ending before Strowman attacks.
Or Strowman will literally tear the ring apart, maybe while Lashley and McIntyre are still in it? We can’t remember who it was that did that years ago (Big Show?), but it would be a fitting conclusion.

Jinder Mahal to return to Raw?
This is purely speculation, but since he appeared on Main Event last week with Indus Sher, WWE Raw Preview won’t be surprised if he pops into Raw tonight.
Mahal’s had horribly bad luck with injuries the last few years, especially during his last return where he didn’t last long.
WWE Raw Preview hope the injury bug stays away from him so he can get a decent run going again and we can see where it takes us down the line.
Who knows? With some luck, he may be in the championship scene again before too long. He’s been one of Vince McMahon’s favorites for years, so nothing is impossible if his body holds up.
How do you think Lashley and McIntyre’s match ends tonight? Let us know in the comments below.
