Darby Allin & Samoa Joe are very bad for each other’s health. Their past two singles matches over the TNT Championship have been the type of car crash brawls that fans love to see. However tonight – the level of danger is at another level, as they meet in a No Holds Barred match. With one win apiece, tonight truly proves which is the better wrestler, and who deserves to carry the TNT Championship. There is no rematches for the loser either, this is the end. Both men are at home in weapon’s filled brawls, and tonight could well get bloody as they look for championship glory.
Darby Allin & Samoa Joe Were Made For Violence
Allin came ready for battle, wearing a thumbtack coated jacket. He’d get to work with a Coffin Splash before taking the Enziguri in the corner. Joe would cover his hand with a towel to hit the lariat, before pulling the jacket off and throwing it aside. Allin would be stomped in the corner, before Joe went for a table.
He’d pull one out from underneath the ring, but it obscured his vision as Allin hit the dive to the floor. Allin would be whipped into the corner, over the steps and into the crowd. Joe would drag Allin up the steps, where he would dunk him into the concrete face first. Allin would be whipped back into the ringside area, with Joe showing some battle wounds with a gash on his face.
Joe would get the ROH World Television Championship thrown into this face, but this just pissed him off. He’d hit Allin with a running senton, before Joe would just stomp the fingers. Allin would be pinned with Joe putting all his body weight on top, but managed to kick out. Joe would take some chops in the corner, before spiking Allin with the uranage.
Joe would grab a table from under the ring, and propped it up by the barricade. Allin threw some strikes, before just being chucked over the top rope. Joe would catch Allin as he came into the ring with a brainbuster, before grabbing two chairs. They’d be set up back to back, and Joe would hit the back drop right onto the tops.
Samoa Joe Becomes Two Time TNT Champion – Wardlow Is Back
Joe would adjust the chairs again and looked the powerbomb through. Allin would throw some powder into the eyes to counter the powerbomb, before hitting the stunner. He’d put the thumbtack hoodie back on, and would look for the Coffin Drop – but this was not enough to take Samoa Joe down.
Allin would cut the canvas of the ring up, trying to expose the planks. The thin padding was pulled out, before Allin would look for the dive on Joe – but went through the table at ringside. A powerbomb in the ring landed on the Thumbtack Jacket, before Joe got a thumb to the eye. Steel chair shots to the back would follow, before Joe was set up for the Coffin Drop.
The referee was thrown into the ropes to trip Allin up, before the Muscle Buster onto the exposed boards. Samoa Joe has regained the TNT Championship – possibly in exchange for years off his career. After the match, Wardlow would make his return – with this being the first time we’ve seen him in 2023.
Wardlow would rush the ring and take the fight to his rival, trying for the powerbombs on the planks – but Joe slipped free. Security tried to restrain Wardlow but were beaten down – and Samoa Joe was scared.
