It’s not every week that we see AEW owner Tony Khan appear on AEW Dynamite. Preferring to stay in the back and leave TV time to his contracted talent, AEW fans know that when he shows up – big things are coming. However, Adam Cole would be chosen to actually deliver the announcement.
Adam Cole Helps To Announce AEW All Access – Reveals In-Ring Return Is Coming In March
Every week after AEW Dynamite in the month of March, we will see AEW All Access – an unfiltered look at AEW behind the scenes. The night that show debuts live – is the same night that Adam Cole makes his long awaited in-ring return. One of the first episodes of AEW All Access will be focused on the return of Adam Cole. This sets up March as a major month for AEW – with AEW Revolution just the start.
We can assume that AEW All Access will be in the same format as former WWE Network series WWE 24. In-depth behind the scene views at major events and stories, told in a documentary style. Considering the quality of AEW content like their weekly “Road To…” series – this will make for an interesting watch.
Jon Moxley Looks For Win #100
At AEW Revolution, we’re going to see the final chapter of Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley. What started as two of the top names in AEW simply looking to prove who is better has turned into an all out war between two very angry men. Ahead of their Texas Deathmatch at Revolution, Moxley looks to take down one of the close friends of Hangman, that being Dark Uno of The Dark Order – and earn his 100th win in AEW in the process.
Uno comes in on a 19 match winning streak – perhaps at his best in AEW right now. Moxley would be rushed into the corner by Uno as this match began, a very aggressive start to this match as both men traded chops in the middle of the ring. Uno would lose ground briefly before hitting the big boot and whipping Moxley with his leather vest.
Moxley would be hit with running splashes in the corner, before he’d rip at the mask of Uno in the corner. Despite this, Uno would boot Moxley off the apron and into the barricade, before coming off the top rope with a senton. Uno didn’t go undefeated for 8 months by letting his in-ring skills rust.
Moxley Gets Win By Referee Stoppage
The crowd would get behind Uno with some ‘Let’s go Uno’ chants, before he was driven into the steel steps. Moxley would stomp Uno’s head into the steps, and blood was dripping under the mask of Uno. Moxley would stomp on the face of Uno before some brutal crossface blows – blood streaming into the eyes of Uno.
Despite this, Uno would plant Moxley with a set of Spike Piledrivers, getting a near fall. Moxley would drop step into the sleeper hold on Uno, shifting into the Hammer & Anvil Elbows. Bulldog Choke would be applied, and Uno was gushing as Moxley squeezed harder. Rear Naked Choke would follow – and Moxley gets win #100 by referee stoppage.
After the bell, Moxley would refuse to let the hold go, and Dark Order looked to make the save. Blackpool Combat Club joined in, before Hangman Page hit the ring with Barbed Wire around his hand for a punch to the face of Moxley. Who will be the last man standing at AEW Revolution?
