We have another set of spoilers for February 24 episode of AEW Rampage and it looks like a fun card. As usual, Rampage was taped following Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ.
They come curtesy of the Wrestling Observer and we have them listed below.
Spoilers never bothered us because we like to see how things come about, and if the match is good enough, we can be lost in it and not see how the outcome will happen.
That’s a special thing and while we enjoy it, we understand why some aren’t fans
Since some don’t like spoilers, we’re doing our usual delaying action to give everyone a chance to back out before seeing the outcome of the show.
So, we’re going to give anyone that doesn’t want to see any spoilers a final chance to walk away.
Still here? Alrighty, let’s get onto some spoilers!
AEW Rampage SPOILERS AHEAD!
The Young Bucks defeated Aussie Open, and after the match the House of Black surrounded the ring. When the lights went off and came on, they were gone.
Next up was Toni Storm facing Willow Nightingale, which Storm won. In the after match scrum, Ruby Soho came out to help Nightingale and prevent her from being spray painted.
Jamie Hayter came out and attacked Saraya. Lance Archer, with Jack Roberts, defeated Bryce Saturn. Sammy Guevara then defeated Action Andretti to close the night out.
We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next in some of these rivalries and it’s always good seeing Jake Roberts back.
End of AEW Rampage near?
There have been rumors that AEW Rampage could be canceled as it hasn’t been renewed for a fourth season yet, but that is just how things go sometimes.
The show has been largely stagnant ratings wise as they’ve stayed in their niche and Tony Kahn hasn’t come across as being interested in brining in new fans, choosing instead to cater to AEW’s hardcore fans.
It’s an old accusation toward him, and at this point he may be running out of ideas as his special announcements carry very little weight anymore.
It’s easy to be locked into a formula on how to so something, and that’s when the product becomes stale and safe.
Part of that could be because AEW Rampage is pretaped, but mostly is seems like AEW needs an infusion of fresh energy and booking to capture casual fan interest.
