Kate Middleton journeyed to a college in Derby with Captain Preet Chandi MBE to commemorate the Army officer’s comeback from her unaccompanied expedition over Antarctica.
Kate Middleton Gets Physical With Some Tyre Training-‘Megs Cannot Do This’
Chandi achieved an unprecedented success by completing an unsupported individual polar skiing expedition over a distance of 922 miles in an incredible 70 days and 16 hours, which broke the world record.
Capt Chandi would ski for a considerable amount of time each day, ranging from 13 to 15 hours, while only getting a maximum of five hours of sleep.
In 2015, another serviceman, Henry Worsley, a retired lieutenant colonel, had set a previous record by journeying 907 miles. Unfortunately, he passed away after collapsing from fatigue near the end of the expedition.
To mark such a feat, Chandi addressed the students about her journey, and Kate joined her in presenting a prize to Simrat Soggi, who was one of the triumphant individuals in the chief’s national school logo challenge.
Subsequent to that, Kate linked up with the pupils while they partook in some activities which illustrated the expedition and how Capt Chandi got ready for it, including a few illustrations of her drills and the nourishments she ate.
In the clip here, we can see that Kate tried to drag two tyres attached to a harness, which each weighed 44lb (20kg), as a way to mimic the expedition. In her comments, Kate said: “I need to do some training.
“(Capt Chandi) has been a huge inspiration to me and it’s been great to see her journey and what she has been able to achieve in the year she has been working towards this incredible goal.”
The public on social media began to make a running joke out of the whole situation. And in the process, people began to troll over the incident. One person wrote: “She is just like a performing seal,” while another person stated: “Megs cannot do this.”
