When it comes to WWE NXT, the main purpose was always supposed to be making new stars for WWE. This has never been more clear than with the current crop of stars in WWE NXT, with the likes of Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, and Grayson Waller. However – while those three could be future WWE Champions, it’s the female stars that tend to steal the show with how fast they pick up the industry. The likes of Tiffany Stratton and Amari Miller have proven this, but Sol Ruca might be the fastest rising star in the company. She’s even impressed Kofi Kingston.
Kofi Kingston Thinks WWE NXT Star Sol Ruca Is A Super Athlete
While speaking with Ryan Satin on the Out of Character podcast, Kofi Kingston would take a chance to praise the incredible potential of the fastest rising star in NXT – Sol Ruca. Kingston was quoted saying the following.
“Oh my god, she’s a super athlete. Some of the videos she posts on social media, like her doing pistol squats on a balance bar… If I tried to do a pistol squat right now, my knee would laugh at me, explode, and disappear. I can’t do that. It’ll be like Avengers, you know I’m saying, where Thanos snapped his fingers. I’m out of here man, I can’t do that. She surfs too, right? Just a super athlete man.
Even her finishing move where she does the inverted up and over into the cutter… what the? How? How dude? How do you even have the guts to try that in front of a live crowd and nail it every single time. Like I said man, the future is bright for WWE because these guys and girls in NXT are amazing. The raw athleticism is great and it’s only gonna get better with experience in the ring and matches and promos and all of that stuff, so when it’s all said and done, Sola, among others, everyone’s gonna be just awesome. It’s gonna be such a great product to watch.”
Sol Ruca was signed to WWE in June 2022, and has only wrestled 29 matches in her career to date. She is an easy pick for a future NXT Women’s Champion, possibly as soon as 2024. Have you been impressed by Sol Ruca in WWE NXT? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
