Fans of Kylie Jenner have been expressing their strong reactions to her unique fashion statement.
Kylie Jenner SLAMMED For Wearing A Lion’s Head-‘This Is Wrong On So Many Levels’
On Monday, 23rd January 2023, the 25-year-old attended the Schiaparelli show during Paris Fashion Week wearing a strapless black velvet dress that had been attached with a realistic lion head decoration.
Once the image was shared, Kylie captioned the post with the following comments: “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for such a special morning.
“Wow I loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials.” As Kylie descended the stairs wearing her tight black attire with a faux animal sewn into it, the on-lookers were obviously perplexed.
Additionally, she was wearing some gold shoes and a snakeskin bag, which further angered others. With that being said, the fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A certain subset of people were of the view that the fashion statement was unethical since it would encourage the killing of endangered animals.
One person wrote: “Guess more Americans will be flocking to Africa now to get the latest wildlife accessories. Promoting hunting.
“As a South African, This is wrong on so many levels, The king of our jungle is not a fashion statement, like WTF.”
On the other hand, many people on social media were not too offended by the display at all, regardless of whether it was real or not.
Another fan remarked: “Y’all act like your kids ain’t carrying stuffed animals around. Wouldn’t it also be considered ‘promoting animal hunting.”
Kylie is yet to respond to this which is understandable due to the negative media scrutiny that it would generate. But based on what we have seen so far, things are not looking good for her. And that is not going to change anytime soon.
