Queen Consort Camilla, the wife of the reigning monarch King Charles III, recently made her first public appearance since recovering from her alleged coronavirus infection.
Queen Consort Camilla Returns To Royal Life Following Covid-‘Your Majesty, I’m Covid-Free’
According to reports, the pair hosted a gathering at Clarence House to honor the second anniversary of The Reading Room charity.
This charity works to advance the appreciation of literature among adults and children across the globe. They aspire to bridge the space between writers and readers by offering educational, free, and easily accessible literary material all-year-round. The goal is to help more people discover and connect with books.
For the event, they invited a lot of writers, people involved in literature, and representatives of organizations that promote literacy. In her comments, she said: “Your Majesty. A week late, but I’m Covid-free.
“Please remain true to your calling, unimpeded by those who may wish to curb the freedom of your expression or impose limits on your imagination. Enough said.”
Camilla is not the only member of the firm to have an interest in books. The same can be said when it comes to Sarah Ferguson. She has written an extensive number of books, some of which include ‘Ballerina Rosie and Tea for Ruby.’
And as part of that process, she is going to promote her newest book, ‘A Most Intriguing Lady,’on Monday, 6th March 2023 in New York City.
With that being said, the social media response was fairly positive. A certain subset of people were glad to see her getting back to her usual self since the monarch will need all the support he can get in the run up to the Coronation.
Meanwhile, others got behind the noble cause. One person wrote: “Camilla is not my favorite royal, but I’m glad she has recovered from Covid.”
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
