Joe Rogan has the biggest podcast platform on the planet. Interviewing MMA fighters and popular combat sports personalities is a regular thing for the podcaster. While guesting on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast is a dream for many, Mirko Cro Cop will refuse to appear on the show due to various reasons.
It appears that the Croatian former policeman and MMA fighter, Mirko Filipovic, despises Joe Rogan. He made it clear on many occasions – he doesn’t want anything to do with the podcaster. He claims that the inconsistent claims about him, made by the podcaster are to be blamed for this decision.
Why Mirko Cro Cop Won’t Guest On The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast?
Mirko Cro Cop had numerous chances to appear on the podcast. However, he did not hesitate to dismiss them all. He branded Joe Rogan ‘a rude individual’ and someone that doesn’t have any integrity.
“He angered me, you know, he’s so rude.” – Mirco Cro Cop said of Joe Rogan. “X times they grab me, start with something positive and then turn to something negative. First, they talked that I was carrying millions of dollars in suitcases from Japan. Then someone who was with him on the podcast said that he was in some kind of a vault and saw it. What vault, man? That was never the practice in Pride.”
Mirco Cro Cop explains on many occasions that he initially found Joe Rogan charismatic and dear. However, Joe Rogan mentions Mirko more often on his podcast. While some of the information he shares is good and true, some of it is lies and misinformation. That’s why the Pride star despises him now.
“He always has something to tell. His hair would grow back if I’d slap him, don’t even think about the podcast. He was very, very dear to me. But now he is on embargo for me.” – Crop Cop explained on one podcast.
His despise for Joe Rogan is so high that he didn’t hesitate to prank him when given an opportunity in Germany after a UFC event. As he tells, he left Joe Rogan without a ride to his hotel. He presented him as Joe Rogan to a local driver and took advantage of the Mercedes S Class booked for the podcaster.
“I finished my fight. And I saw a Mercedes S-Class parked in front of the official entrance with a UFC sign over it. I came to the car and saw some old Turk. However, he didn’t know s**t about anything. And he pointed to me and said, Mr. Joe Rogan? I said, yes, Joe Rogan. Following this, he drove us to the hotel. He thanked me and went home. As a result, Joe Rogan lost his ride. F**k it, it was a great prank.” – Mirko Cro Cop explained on a Croatian podcast.
