According to exclusive confirmation from In Touch, the divorce of Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker, who both appeared on the reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé, has been dismissed after a year since he filed.

In March 2022, Mark filed for divorce from Nikki. He attempted to keep the divorce proceedings confidential by filing a motion for sealing, which was ultimately rejected. Additionally, their prenuptial agreement was included in the divorce paperwork.
According to In Touch, on October 19, 2022, Mark submitted a legal motion asserting that he and his 26-year-old partner, Nikki, were depicted incorrectly in season 3 of the reality TV series.
Mark pointed out in the motion that the initial divorce petition, which mentioned infidelity as the cause of their separation, wasn’t entirely precise.
The following comments from Mark confirmed as much: “Plaintiff wants nothing more, but to save this union! Defendant promised, after filing, a complaint, to get help to correct ongoing egregious behavior, but has failed.
“Plaintiff has sought out marital counseling, and continues, but given the circumstances has been unsuccessful to present.”
Fans of the show may recall that Mark and Nikki were known for having the largest age difference ever featured on the program during their appearance in 2015, spanning 39 years.
Before meeting in person, Mark and his partner connected through the internet. They hit it off and decided to meet in the Philippines, where she is from.
Mark proposed to her with a zip tie instead of a traditional engagement ring just two days after they met. Mark submitted an application for the K-1 visa, which allowed Nikki to relocate to Baltimore and begin preparing for their wedding within 90 days.
Throughout their engagement, they encountered a number of challenges, one of which was the fact that Nikki was only 19 years old and just two years younger than Mark’s youngest daughter, Ellie.
Despite these obstacles, it appears the couple are stronger than ever. In his comments, Mark said: “WE ARE NOT DIVORCED. WE ARE NOT SEPARATED AND NEVER WERE!!! OUR MARRIAGE IS NOT DISSOLVED.”
The response on social media, however, was damning. A certain subset of people were not glad to hear this due to the fact that the massive age gap had shown there was no logical reason for the pair to stay together.
And in the process of doing so, the comments were very brutal. One person wrote: “Yuck, he was another creepy predator.”
