Becky Lynch recently suffered a major loss in WWE, losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Having won the belts alongside Lita, Lynch would instead team up with Lita’s longtime friend and rival Trish Stratus – with Stratus cositing Lynch & Lita their title reign as a result.
This has set up a big match between Stratus & Lynch – only for Lynch to make some odd moves on social media, and missing episodes of Monday Night RAW – leading many to assume her contract could be up.
Becky Lynch’s WWE Contract Ends In 2024
Sean Ross Sap of Fightful would report the following about Becky Lynch and her WWE contract status.
Becky Lynch has the wrestling world buzzing after tweeting that she wouldn’t be at the April 17 WWE Raw, but she might be in store for some big time money sooner than later.
With Lynch dropping her verification badge and changing her display name to her real name, Rebecca Quin, many inquiries were made to Fightful about her current status with WWE. We’re told that Lynch signed a brand new deal upon returning to the company in 2021, and her time off for maternity leave is not a factor. Lynch signed a three-year deal that currently expires in June 2024.
Thus far, WWE sources tell us the two have not entered negotiations for a new deal. There are several deals that are up in 2024, as WWE had signed much of the roster to four year contracts then. At the time, WWE was signing and extending talent way before their expiration.”
Right now, Lynch is also dealing with a minor foot injury – which might keep her off TV for a few weeks. She’s expected to remain with WWE in 2024, likely getting a major contract offer.
Lynch remains one of the top draws in women’s wrestling, and WWE will be unlikely to open the door for her to make her way to All Elite Wrestling as a result of this.
