‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to get a new week off with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re starting the week off with some bad decisions being made, and there’s bound to be some glorious fallout from them in the coming episodes. So let’s grab some popcorn and dive in!
‘The Young and the Restles’ Spoilers Monday, May 1: Damage Control time
With the news of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s arrest and facing allegations of murder spreading, it’s going to put Jabot on some shaky ground between their suppliers, customers, and even investors if there are any outside the Abbott family.
The fact that she and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) announced their engagement shortly before Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is only going to hurt the company.
With the fallout just beginning, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will start some damage control.
That may be tough to do in general, but “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect there to be plenty of friction between the siblings as Ashley will want to cut Diane off from the company completely while Billy will want to take more of a balanced approach.
Honestly, we don’t get to see them interact too often so we’re looking forward to this scene and it could be interesting if Billy’s new task will be to fix the divide between Ashley and Jack.
‘The Young and the Restles’ Spoilers Monday, May 1: Business with a side of pleasure
We wish we could say we’re surprised, but after Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) lied to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) about being alone on his business trip, we’re waiting for the big reveal.
Sure, he and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will blur the line between business and pleasure, but the real fun will come when Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) sits down with Elena about the same time.
Audra’s been chasing her own goals since joining Newman Media, but we’re curious what she has to gain from spying on and then telling Elena about the blossoming affair.
She may expect it to hurt Nate’s credibility enough for her to get his job, or she may plan on playing up to him as his confidant to gain an edge.
Either way, she’s going to be key to Elena learning about his affair with Victoria and that’s when things are going to get really interesting.
