‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Things are going to be interesting in this episode as we’re going to get out monthly ultimatum from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) is going to struggle with her secret.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, May 2: Sally’s on the spot
Some things never change in Genoa City, and we don’t see Victor ceasing any and all interference and manipulation of his children’s lives.
At this point, it’s old hat for him and he’s going to try to remove his idea of the problem by demanding Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) dump Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and go back to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
He’ll pull out all of the stops, including trying to buy her off and threatening to destroy her and her life if she doesn’t obey his whim.
It’s curious to see Victor turn into such a snowflake at having his idea of family challenged, and we suspect Sally will refuse to give into his opinion, though it may plant a seed since she’s been growing closer to Adam in some ways.
Still, it’ll be fun to see Nick and Adam go after Victor as a united front to protect Sally. Nothing like an upcoming Victor meltdown to make things really interesting.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, May 2: Too much to hide
Summer’s going to be at her wits end in dealing with the secret that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive and well, and with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) trying to get her to open up isn’t going to help.
Summer will be doing all sorts of emotional gymnastics while trying to deal with her mother’s secret and make sure she follows through on Phyllis’ wishes that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will suffer for what she did.
Of course, there’s the problem that Diane didn’t do anything and it’s entirely Phyllis’ fault for going down the rabbit hole she did, but Summer doesn’t see it that way.
But seeing how Kyle is suffering for Phyllis’ choices will tear her heart in a few different directions, and she’ll have to weigh that against her reasons for staying true to her mom’s wishes.
And then there’s her fear that no one will believe her if she does come clean, but at some point it’ll just be another excuse as she tries to keep her secrets hidden.
