After taking a hard loss at Double or Nothing 2023, Jack Perry has stepped away from the singles ranks and back to where he’s most comfortable – with a tag team partner.
Having saved the FTW Champion HOOK from an attack when La Faccion Ingobernable members Preston Vance & Dralistico looked to take his time for their own. Now, JungleHOOK is back – and will meet LFI in a Texas Tornado Tag team match.
JungleHOOK Gets Bloody In Tornado Tag Team Brawl
We’d quickly see the no-rules nature of this match on full display, with LFI using camera cables and chains to battle JungleHOOK.
Vance & HOOK brawled into the crowd as Dralistico would choke Perry in the ring with a cable. Perry would gain the upperhand in the ring and used the camera cables for his own, while Vance would take a trash can to the face.
Two tables were set up at ringside by Jose The Assistant & Dralistico, as HOOK was driven jaw first into a steel railing. Perry got an eye on HOOK’s predicament up in the stands, and would look to end the match with a brainbuster – as the match needs to end in the ring. HOOK would gain some ground, as Perry was set up in the ropes and stomped into the apron by Dralistico.
Vance took a chain wrapped superman punch from HOOK as they returned to ringside. A bloody Vance would fight back, with the blood waking him up.
HOOK was driven hard into the barricade, before catching Dralistico with an Exploder Suplex. Vance would hit a Brodie Lee style Discus Lariat on HOOK on the floor.
HOOK would be choked with the chain, setting up a powerbomb through the tables. There to make the save with Perry with a steel chair, before HOOK hit a T-Bone Suplex sending both men through the table.
Jose would be choked out with Redrum, and Perry would apply the SnareTrap on Dralistico – getting JungleHOOK the victory.
CM Punk & FTR To Main Event First Ever AEW Collision
Tony Khan is doing everything to build up hype for the coming debut of AEW Collision. The new weekly two hour live show is set for a Saturday timeslot, with June 17th set to be the first episode.
We already have seen the logo, the announcement of CM Punk making his return, and the town of Chicago. Tonight, Khan has another announcement for the first episode, with the main event match being announced.
Khan would hype up both Forbidden Door and Saturday Collisions debut. In the main event of the first ever episode the main event will see Jay White, Juice Robinson & Samoa Joe taking on CM Punk and the AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR in the main event!
These are six of the best wrestlers in the world today, and this will be a huge main event. This lines up with both sets of reported plans for Punk, that have teased feuds with Joe & White.
Don Callis Intends To Cut The Cancer That Is Kenny Omega Out Of AEW
Konosuke Takeshita has sold his soul to a devil by the name of Don Callis – and tonight, returns to the ring for the first time since betraying The Elite.
Taking on a Shawn Spears doppelganger by the name of Damon Ace, Takeshita would quickly show his size and dominance. Just a few strikes would be enough to set up the Powerdrive Knee – ending this match with a cocky pinfall from Takeshita.
After this short match, Don Callis would agin try to preach the truth of Kenny Omega. Everything Omega, the Elite & AEW have is because of Callis.
Omega is IWGP United States Champion because of Callis, but became like a cancer in the body of Callis. Like the cancer he is, Callis cut him out of his body – and will cut The Elite out of AEW.
