There are big things brewing for a second generation wrestler right now. Having recently left All Elite Wrestling after spending 4 years with the company, Brian Pillman Jr. is ready for the next stage of his career.
At 29 years old, Pillman has yet to hit his prime – and is prepared to take steps to reach his full potential, and is now teasing that a ‘huge opportunity’ is incoming.
Brian Pillman Jr. Has A Huge Moment Incoming
During a Captains Corner virtual signing, Pillman Jr. would take some questions from fans – including what is next. While he can’t give specifics right now, he had the following to say.
“It’s a tough business and it’s a long road to the top if you want to rock n roll. Being here today and getting to reminisce about some of the past moments of my career has really cheered me up and put me in a position where I’m excited for the future. There is a lot to come, I can’t speak on it right now, it’s kind of in the works. I have a huge moment, a huge opportunity coming up in my career to continue making memories, to continue coming up with new gear ideas and sharing my version of pro wrestling with you all. Thank you for supporting me.”
WWE Bound Very Soon
Those who have been paying attention already know what is next for the son of Brian Pillman. He’s been spotted at the WWE Performance Center, and is planned to be signing with the company very soon. Pillman is going to be part of the NXT brand, giving him a chance to improve before reaching the main roster.
This will put him alongside other second generation stars like Brooks Jensen & Bron Breakker on the brand. He is likely to get a new name when signing with WWE, but we can expect many references to his fathers time in WWE. Pillman’s dad was incredibly popular with his Loose Cannon character, and we’ve seen plenty of potential in Pillman Jr. to capture that same energy.
