During the interview, Sharon recalled the scenes when her ex-husband died. “Those were hard scenes,” she said. “It’s always hard to play a death, but it’s also hard in reality when an actor you’ve worked with for a long time is leaving the show.”
She also discussed how challenging it was to play the role of Sharon Newman. She continued to say that even though her scenes were difficult to process, they earned her a Daytime Emmy nominee in 2023.
