‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ending another week with some fun moments that are sure to cause some headaches for our favorite characters.
We’re going to have plenty of popcorn on hand for this one and we have a feeling we’re going to need a bigger tub.
Let’s jump into some spoilery goodies!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, August 18: A divided house
Now that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)’s world has been turned upside down thanks to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)’s released her detailed and complicated pass, Anna’s going to find herself with plenty of questions.
The biggest one will be who can she trust. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has done everything he can to help her in the past, but she can tell there’s something he’s not telling her.
Things will only get worse if Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tells her about Valentin not being at ELQ the night her house burned down like he said.
“General Hospital” Spoilers think there’s a good chance he’s the one that has been watching her to try to keep her safe, and that night he was following her when the fire happened.
If he admits that to her she’ll be furious with him and it’ll blow is cover, so that could explain his lie.
We’ll find out more in this episode when he asks her if she trusts him. We don’t think she’ll be able to say yes, and that could open the floodgates of admissions.
This scene could be the equivalent of not being able to put the genie back in the lamp and it could doom their relationship depending on which direction the writers go with it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, August 18: Conflict for conflict’s sake
We don’t know if we should be more annoyed with the Davis women or the writers for the lack of consistency. It feels like the new batch are being moved from one storyline to another or change their minds from script to script.
Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith)’s attitude toward Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is baffling and makes her look petty and vindictive while claiming Kristina is the problem.
But that’s not the real issue. Kristina knew they were interviewing surrogates and she made her peace at not being one for Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
The two sisters even came to an understanding on so many levels, so Molly not inviting her or telling TJ she wasn’t makes no sense.
The inconsistency is mind boggling and migraine inducing, especially since in this episode Kristina will demand to know why Molly is paying someone to be a surrogate when she offered.
We hope the writers have some brilliant Mark Twain satire in mind, otherwise this storyline could become the laziest and worst written one in a while.
Is Kristina becoming seriously unbalanced when it comes to her wanting a child? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
