Once again, following a major PPV event for All Elite Wrestling – it’s a backstage incident involving CM Punk that has fans talking.

While All In was a major accomplishment, setting the record for the most paid fans at a wrestling event – it was almost delayed due to the actions of Punk. This came during an altercation with Jack Perry, but might have been the final straw for Tony Khan.

More Details On CM Punk’s Backstage Fight At All In – Tony Khan Was There For It All

In new information shared by Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, we would learn more about the fight between Perry & Punk.

The fight happened in front of Khan in the Gorilla position, who was reportedly so close that a monitor fell onto him. Punk would also yell at Khan during the incident – stating that he was ready to quit and hated AEW. It was Samoa Joe who broke up the fights, and ensured his planned match with Punk went on to open the show.

The start of the show was delayed due to Punk, and Khan was ready to instead open the show with the six man tag team match between The Golden Elite & Bullet Club Gold + Konosuke Takeshita.

Joe was able to get things under control, and was angry at Punk for nearly costing him the chance to wrestle in Wembley Stadium. The match went on as planned, and got a good reception from fans.

In addition to his run in with Perry, Punk would also get into the face of Miro – who while not booked for the All In card, was on hand for the event.

Miro had taken a few light jabs at Punk over social media, and would approach Punk after his match to talk about what happened with Perry. Punk didn’t get physically involved with Miro like he did with Perry.

    Hitting The Bosses Breaking Point

This is becoming a running trend with Punk, who had his suspension confirmed earlier today while AEW investigates the fight.

Sources from within AEW have stated how this might have put the working relationship between Punk & Khan to its limit. The constant drama with Punk has become impossible to avoid at this stage, and is unlikely to change in the future.

There was always going to be an eventual breaking point for Khan in regards to Punk. Trying to derail the biggest show in company history might have been just that.

While both Perry & Punk are suspended, there is a clear constant in backstage issues in AEW over the past month or so. Neither man is expected to be announced for All Out next Sunday, which takes place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago.

We will have to wait and see if any further action is taken in regards to Punk from AEW. Do you think this was the last straw for CM Punk? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
