Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
Tonight is going to be a mixed one emotionally for us and we’re sure the people involved following the passing of Windham Rotundo (Bray Wyatt), and we expect tonight to be heavy on Bray Wyatt tributes.
Let’s remember the awesome moments Wyatt gave us as we enjoy what the WWE offers and any matches we’ll see.

Celebrating legends
This week, we lost two beloved members of the WWE family, Hall of Famer Terry Funk and the one and only Bray Wyatt.

The show started with a memorial placard for Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt and the roster was gathered on the stage and Michael Cole welcomed us to the show and how we lost two beloved members.
They’re going to remember both of them tonight and gave them a ten bell salute and Erick Rowan was in attendance.
Following the ten bells, an awesome video peace played covering Wyatt’s career and numerous family photos with his brother, father, wife and children.

Afterwards, the camera shifted back to the arena and the fans chanting “Thank you, Bray!” and they sang “He’s got the whole world in his hands” before the lighting switched to an empty rocking chair.
Next up was Terry Funk’s tribute with scenes from his matches and various tweets from wrestlers past and present sharing their thoughts, memories, and condolences.
Rey Mysterio vs. Grayson Waller
Waller started it out fast by going after Rey, and after a headlock Waller ran him over with a shoulder tackle.
Rey turned it around and unloaded on Waller in the corner, and when Waller tried to pull him off Rey set him up for a 619.
Waller avoided the 619 and knocked Rey to the floor. Rey avoided his baseball slide and sent him into the barricade with a head scissors.
Back in the ring, Wallker hit an elbow from the middle rope for a near pinfall.

Waller caught Rey with a heel kick off the ropes for another pin attempt.
Rey sent him into the ring post and followed it with a sitton and a springboard crossbody and countered a slam off the ropes with a DDT for a near pinfall.
Waller caught Rey with a slam for a pin attempt, but then he ran into a clothesline and a senton and took Waller down with a dropkick to his knees as Austin Theory came out to distract Rey.
Waller tried to steal a quick pin but Rey kicked out and they caught each other with crossbodies and Escobar came out and went after Theory, but Theory sent him into the barricade.
Rey hit Theory with a baseball slide and Waller caught him napping. But when he went back into the ring, Rey hit a 619 and a splash over the top rope for the win after Escobar superkicked Theory.
