Bryan Danielson is not done with Ricky Starks after winning their recent strap match, with Starks attacking Danielson last Saturday. With Big Bill by his side, Starks will march into battle with the Blackpool Combat Club.

With Danielson calling on ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli for backup here tonight, Starks could see this as a chance to be next in line for a title shot.

    Big Bill Refuses To Fall

Bill would start things with Danielson – who originally met back as part of the WWE roster. Danielson would hit a series of kicks to the leg, before being driven into the corner and crushed with a big overhand chop. Bill would lose control of Danielson, and take more leg kicks – before being met with Castagnoli.

A test of strength would see Castagnoli hold his ground, before trying to lift him into the airplane spin. Bill was able to slip free twice, before taking a big uppercut.

Danielson got the tag, but Bill ran both members of the BCC down with a double clothesline. Starks would get into the ring finally, cornering Danielson for a slap to the face.

The American Dragon would fire up, and would punish Starks in the corner with stiff chops and kicks before a Frankensteiner took Starks hard down to the mat.

Starks would manage a big back elbow strike, before Bill got the tag. Danielson was set up on the top rope, and a Big Boot from Bill sent him tumbling to the floor.

Ricky Starks Takes The Low Road To Victory Over Bryan Danielson

Starks would keep the pressure on in the ring, before putting him into the ring – and isolating him far from Castagnoli. Danielson would manage a running elbow smash, and got the tag to Castagnoli.

Bill & Castagnoli would trade strikes in the middle of the ring, with Castagnoli driving Bill into the corner for 19 lariats and an uppercut. Having softened Bill up, one more lariat finally took him down.

A TKO would land as Castagnoli got Bill up onto his shoulder, but only got a two count. Bill hit a chokeslam after catching Castagnoli off a springboard.

Starks would tag in, but was victim of the Giant Swing. Starks would survive, and was put in the Sharpshooter – with Bill making the save. Castagnoli took a big DDT, but blocked an attempt at the Spear with an uppercut.

Danielson would get the tag, and would hit the Yes Kicks to the chest – but missed the Buzzsaw Kick. Starks would manage to block the LeBell Lock, before a catapult into the chop from Bill.

Danielson was cut down with the Spear, but Castagnoli made the save. Castagnoli & Bill would battle on the floor, and Starks would hit a Low Blow and Roshambo for the victory.

FTR Are Fighting Champions – Even When Faced With Iron Savages

FTR are never scared to put the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line, and always welcome a fresh challenge. Tonight, that challenge takes the form of two proper heavyweights – the Iron Savages.

Managed by Jacked Jameson, the former Bear Country have made an impact with AEW fans, and Bronson & Boulder are perhaps the strongest tag team in the division. This is the biggest match of their career – and a win tonight would be life changing.

Jacked Jameson offered some Savage Sauce to Harwood before the match, but took a Shatter Machine from FTR. The Iron Savages would send Harwood from the ring before a big double back body drop on Wheeler.

Bronson hit a diving splash – and Harwood had to break the pinfall up. Boulder would hit the backbreaker, before Bronson got another near fall off the spinebuster.

Harwood would get the tag and hit a dropkick, sending Boulder off the ropes. An elbow drop was avoided by Harwood, before taking a powerslam.

Boulder missed a moonsault, and rolled into the FTR corner. Bronson took the Shatter Machine – and the PowerPlex landed on Boulder for the finish. After the match, The Workhorsemen would challenge FTR next.
