‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep it going with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be an interesting and frustrating episode as there isn’t a whole lot that makes sense with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being arrested on what should be fake information.
Let’s sort through some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 5: Sonny’s arrested
Okay, this could all be part of Sonny and Brick (Stephan A. Smith)’s master plan to flush out whomever is after Sonny, but having Sonny arrested seems a bit risking.
This brings up the question of what kind of information did the police get?
Brick made a point of saying he supplied a USB drive with fake information for the nanny to take, but she brought her own and downloaded everything from Sonny’s computer.
So, did Brick mean it was up to Sonny to upload the fake information? It wouldn’t make any sense for a mob boss to keep their illegal activities on a computer to begin with, so this feels like their plan.
But again, it’s way too complicated and once the police see the evidence they’ll have to let everyone go. Assuming the evidence isn’t the weapons as expected, but at this point it could be unicorns.
This feels like the writers are trying to prove they’re clever by over complicating the plot, and everyone that was arrested will think Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) set them up since he got the timely phone call.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 5: Carly’s on the warpath
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is the only one that can prove Dex wasn’t involved, but she’s going to have her own suspicions.
Since she knows Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hired Dex to begin with, she’s going to interrogate him about possibly turning his father in.
“General Hospital” Spoilers expect Michael to be honest when he says he didn’t, but he’ll also defend Sonny being arrested since he deserves it and so on.
Because of that and his and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)’s continued willful ignorance about what would happen without Sonny in place in Port Charles, we expect Carly to once again try to get him to see logic and reason.
And then they’ll switch to who could’ve turned Sonny in, and the possibility that Dex told Joss about it may come up.
Carly won’t want to believe it, but since it’s a possibility she’ll be worried enough to consider the possibility and talk to Joss about it.
