‘Dancing With the Stars’ Artem Chigvintsev has given his fans an update on his state of health and say he’s still not recovered from pneumonia.

Artem, for his part, had recently confirmed that he would not be participating on the show’s dance tour. Although he stated that he would be sitting it out, the failure to disclose the health condition created a lot of panic.
This was then clarified by his fiancé Nikki Bella’s sister, Brie Bella, who confirmed Artem had Covid. And yet, it looks as though this was just the start. After undergoing more tests, Artem admitted that he has another hurdle to overcome as he’s suffering from pneumonia.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, Artem said: “So, I had another x-ray done yesterday, and it came back still positive for pneumonia.
“So, I just got another set of antibiotics.” This is another setback, especially since reports indicated that Artem was on the mend from Covid.
It is true to say that at least the doctors have come to the bottom of what was plaguing him, but there is no denying that it has been a frustrating time for him especially since the pandemic has not made performing any easier.
But that is not something that is getting Artem down, though. He added: “Hopefully, this one will do the magic, will do the trick, to kick out the pneumonia out of my lungs.
“So that’s where I’m at. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.” The response on social media was one of sadness.
A certain subset of people were disappointed that they would not be able to see the dancer, particularly since they had purchased tickets for the tour.
Meanwhile, others simply wanted to express their sympathy and hoped that Artem would be able to get back to good health in no time.
One person wrote: “We are all thinking of you and Artem for full healing! Hope this 2nd round of antibiotics gets rid of it! I’m sorry this has been such a frustrating process but you’ve got this.”
Artem is not out of the woods just yet, but with the support of his friends, family and fans, he could not be in a better position to do so.
