Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta have had the number of Toxic Attraction lately. They got the pin during a six woman tag team match, and the power of Pirotta alone is enough to win most matches for the duo. However tonight, with the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne will be in peak form. With NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose at ringside, they will have the numbers edge – and have a chance to prove they’re the real deal against two very worthy challengers.
Toxic Attraction Control The Match
Toxic Attraction struck first and fast, sending Pirotta & Hartwell to the outside. Jayne hit the cannonball senton off the apron, with Dolin flying soon after. Into the ring, Jayne nailed a rolling elbow to Pirotta, who stumbled into a tag to Hartwell. Hartwell was placed on the turnbuckle by Hartwell, with Mandy Rose running a distraction. However, Rose took things a step too far by throwing Hartwell back into the ring – and being ejected from ringside.
In the ring, Dolin would nail a lariat on Hartwell for a near fall, before slamming her face off the mat. Toxic Attraction would begin to isolate Hartwell in their corner, Jayne taking a moment to taunt Pirotta before hitting a cannonball senton – and quickly tagging in Dolin, who is proving to be the ring general of the champs.
Quick stomps and tags in the corner kept the hurt coming to Hartwell, before Jayne applied a surfboard stretch. Hartwell would fight back to her feet, but took some heavy chops. She’d manage a lucky punch, before a double takedown opened the tag to Pirotta.
Indi Hartwell Falls To The Champions
Pirotta hit the ring alongside Dolin, and she was the powerhouse that this match needed. She’d rush Dolin into the corner before a German Suplex. Jayne ran in to make the save, but Pirotta stacked the champions for a double Samoan Drop. Dolin was able to kick out, before taking a tandem spinebuster.
Jayne would save the match, before brawling to the outside with Pirotta. Pirotta was thrown into the ringsteps, but in the ring, Hartwell had a chance to hit the springboard elbow drop. Jayne tripped her up, and Dolin took advantage quickly. Toxic Attraction hit Toxic Elimination, and this one was all over.
